T&Cs MSWA Lifetime Getaway Lottery

  • A maximum of 300,000 tickets will be offered.
  • Tickets are $10 each
  • Ticket sales commence Friday, 6 August 2021
  • Ticket sales deadline: Midnight, Wednesday, 27 October 2021
  • Draw Date: Friday, 29 October 2021

The following people are prohibited from purchasing a ticket: MSWA Board members, senior managers and ticket fulfilment staff at MSWA and their immediate family members residing at the same address; RSM Australia directors and employees associated with the lottery draw.

It is a condition of entry that the prize winners agree to have their name, suburb and photo published for publicity purposes. By purchasing a ticket in this lottery, participants signify their acceptance of all conditions and the obligation to participate in promotional activity, if required.

There will be three prize draws in the MSWA Lifetime Getaway Lottery. The prizes will be marketed as a ‘MSWA Lifetime Getaway Lottery” – an annuity which will distribute $7,500 pre-tax every year for 20 years. Each winner will be offered the choice between the following two options:

  1. An annuity in their name which will disburse $7,500 per a year; or
  2. Alternatively, a lump sum of $100,000 in cash.

The draws will be conducted at the offices of MSWA, 154 Abernethy Rd Belmont. The winner will be notified in writing by MSWA. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to claim their prize once they have been notified by MSWA.

Each prize will be awarded to the individual named on the official ticket.

The prize notification letter will be addressed to the primary ticket holder.

It is the responsibility of the primary ticket holder to allocate the prize if necessary.

It is a condition of entry that each winner agrees to seek independent financial advice from a taxation specialist prior to choosing between the annuity and the $100,000 cash prize options. It is important to note that the annuity option may have taxation implications that should be considered carefully by the winner and their advisor.

The winners’ names will be published online at by Saturday, 30 October 2021.

MSWA accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the lottery period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries. MSWA is not responsible for unforeseen technical difficulties with the ordering process and does not warrant that the ordering process will be available at all times.

Ticket holders must be 18 years or older.

Requests for ticket refunds will need written approval from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor commission. This process may take a number of weeks. Refunds cannot be issued after the prize draws have begun.
