Although MSWA is a registered charity, lottery tickets are not tax deductible donations.
The only winning tickets that are returned to the draw are the Super Early Bird and Early Bird Prize winners. We believe that this provides greater fairness and allows more people to win prizes in the lottery. This approach is approved by the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor.
It is likely that the Super Early Bird Prize, Early Bird Prize and Grand Prize Draws will be held at the Grand Prize Show Home at 2 Templetonia Crescent, City Beach. The remaining prize draws will be conducted at the MSWA office at 154 Abernethy Road, Belmont, WA. All major prize draws will be broadcast live on our Facebook page.
MSWA's auditors, RSM Australia, will independently verify the completeness and fairness of the draws.
Unfortunately, not all prizes are donated. MSWA negotiates with each of the prize suppliers to ensure substantial discounts are achieved. In many cases, a generous discount is offered to support a worthy charity. If your business would like to donate a prize for use and feature in our fundraising programs, please call MSWA on 1300 769 019 or email lotteries@mswa.org.au
